CITI PROGRAM
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Go to citiprogram.org .
- Click Register in the top right.
- Click Select your organization affiliation and enter National Association of Veterans’ Research and Education Foundations when prompted.
- Check the checkboxes indicating that you agree to CITI’s terms and conditions and that you are an affiliate of NAVREF. Then, click Create a CITI Program Account.
- Enter the requested information to create your account. When you are prompted to Verify Institutional Email, NPC or VA email addresses are acceptable. Please use the street address of the NPC’s main offices (1201 NW 16th Street, Miami, FL, 33125) when prompted for an address.
- Select the curriculum most appropriate to your role. You can change this later.
- Choose a course from your dashboard and start learning!

QA/QI: Human Subject Research
Research Security Training (Combined) – required to submit NIH applications
